Harnessing Neurodiversity
Our founder’s own experience of being neurodiverse informed our commitment to facilitating a neuro-inclusive space. Although Ravikanth’s statement seems provocative, we completely agree with his sentiment. Some of the main frontrunners (e.g., Elon Musk, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates) of the technology industry credit their solutions and tenacity to their neurodiversity.
Despite the high profile ND tech visionaries cited, neurodiversity has been hugely underestimated and overlooked in the tech industry. A Diversity in Tech study found that although more than 50% of tech employees are likely to be neurodiverse, actual employers believed that they comprised only 3% of their workforce (ref).
